While we’ve always gone to great lengths to best maintain and prepare all of our properties, we’ve since updated our operating protocols and are allocating extra cleaning time between guests to disinfect and sanitize all high-touch surfaces.   Playa Turquesa is perfectly situated on a beautiful beach and right next to excellent restaurants and small grocery stores. Everything you need is a few steps away. Unit D303 has a beautiful view of the grounds and the beach from the windows and the huge balcony. The grounds and the unit were spotless. This unit is listed as having a queen bed but it’s actually a king bed which was a nice surprise.
  It’s a safe area. The beach bar was also a great asset.

  This is the 4th time we have rented this condo and we thoroughly enjoyed our 8 week stay here . The rental process was straightforward, check in and check out were again smooth. The rental agent, GPREC are available and respond promptly if there is a problem. The condo is exactly as pictured, it is clean, and all basic needs are met. The bed is new and comfortable and ample bedding and towels are supplied. The complex itself is well maintained. There is no need to rent a car as there are multiple restaurants and shops right outside the complex and the local bus stops right out front for more extensive shopping at 3 malls with large supermarkets. We will be renting again in 2020.

  We stayed from Dec. 27-Jan .4. We were happy with the condo. It was mostly well equiped, the security at the complex was good, cleanliness of condo and the grounds was fairly good. We loved the large balcony with BBQ and lounge chairs- the view was great! We enjoyed the little oceanside bar/ restaurant on the Playa Turquesa grounds- great food, drinks, and staff! We also ate at Citrus and the food was great there too. The small grocery stores nearby were good to get the basics, but fruits and vegetables and meats were limited, so a cab ride to get groceries at a bigger supermarket would be worth it! The complex was a bit noisy- music from neighbouring resorts, other guests on balconies etc.
  You must be sure to check in at the front desk of the Playa Turquesa complex to get a wrist band, otherwise you will have problems entering the complex at the gate. We were not informed of this from Go Punta Cana staff so it took us a day or two to figure this out!
  Some suggestions to improve the condo:
  Supplies: BBQ cleaning brush, kettle, lighter for lighting the stove, emergency flashlight or candle in case of power outages, better broom and dustpan, tissues, toilet paper
  Cleaning: the sofa could use a steam clean and the grout in the bathroom could use a good scub.
  Items that need fixing: the toilet in the second bath was continually running, the hot water was hit or miss- pehaps the hot water tank should be checked, a hinge on a kitchen cupboard needed to be fixed. All of theese items were referred to Go Punta Cana and they were going to have them fixed before their next guests arrived!
  Overall we were happy with our vacation rental!

  The location of Playa Turquesa is excellent. There are small supermarkets, restaurants, gym, French bakery, currency exchange, pharmacy just a few yards outside the complex. No car is required, the local bus stops out front. The location of this unit within the complex is also excellent. The view of the beach is good and the ocean breezes are lovely. The rental agent, Go Punta Cana Real Estate is similarly excellent. Those are the plusses. The minuses are that the unit itself is becoming very dated and some upgrades are needed. Specifically, the bed is of poor quality and it is old and not very comfortable. The refrigerator is rusty, inefficient, and the gaskets no longer provide an adequate seal. The bed linens are similarly old and do not properly fit the bed. We rented this unit in January 2016 for 6 weeks and again for 7 weeks ending March 2017. We will rent again in 2018 because of its location and the excellence of the rental agency in terms of ease of rental and promptness when a problem occurs.

  Very convenient, 2 groceries and restaurants 2 minute walk. Nice beach with chairs. The unit was very clean, nice balcony to sit with cushioned long chairs, 2 bathrooms which I liked as I was with my daughter. The only problem is when they move the furnitures, very noisy during the night or early morning. Also, Carla was already there when we arrived and she was very friendly.

  We have rented numerous condos within Turquesa over the years and we were again very happy with our rental. The only negative for this particular apartment would be that it could definitely do with some updating. The positive was that because we were so close to the beach we did not have to use the A/C during our stay, also having the supermarket and restaurants all close at hand was again fabulous. We would definitely recommend Citrus, Nam Nam's, Balicana and D'Agelo's for dining, excellent food and great prices. The French patisserie was perfect for breakfast and grabbing a sandwich for the beach.

  Overall it was really good. The people, beach access,neighborhood, and price were great. The tour company that Go Punta Cana Real Estate referred us to which was El Tour Caribe was the best. On the downside, the shower curtain in one bathroom is still too short and water goes everywhere and couldn't take a shower there. I don't know why someone can't just fix that. Also, there is a sulfur smell coming out of the other bathroom. Someone told us that it's the whole complex, but that they're working on fixing the system. It's worth staying there at Playa Turquesa D303.

  We stayed in Playa Turquesa D303 for 42 nights beginning early January. The complex is ideally situated right on the beach and this unit is well placed within the complex. The grounds are well kept and the pools are well maintained. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pools and on the beach. There is a pool bar, a beach bar, and the well-known local restaurant, Citrus, provides food service at the beach bar and pools areas. There are mini supermarkets, several restaurants, shops, bakery, and currency exchange within a short walking distance. The local bus stop is close by. This is our second year in Playa Turquesa although we were in a different unit last year. The condo is exactly as pictured on the website and the rental company Go Punta Cana Real Estate is reliable and responsive when problems occur. Scott Medina, Carla, and Anny are all great to deal with. The view from the balcony is great and the balcony furnishings are comfortable and in good condition. There are new screens on the windows and sliding doors. The ceiling fans and breeze from the ocean kept us comfortable without having to use the air conditioning. The furnishings and supplies in the condo are adequate and meet basic needs but some items are aging. We enjoyed our stay and will be renting this same unit again next year.

We enjoyed the surrounding areas...shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. were convenient and very nice! Beach is fabulous and the new on-site beach bar and menu service from Citrus is a nice addition. Beach and pool lounge chairs should have enough pads for all. In the condo, a new stove and fridge and screens on the windows would be nice.   D303 has a fabulous view of the turquoise ocean, beach and Palm trees. The deck was a favorite place to relax with coffee in the morning and have some dinner in the evening. The rental was clean and ready upon my arrival. It also is comforting to know that you can rely on the transportation to and from the airport. My driver was reliable, pleasant and prompt. My experience was also enhanced by the opportunity to go on an excursion with El Tour Caribe. Lise and Edwar are professional, prompt, and friendly.

  Beautiful accommodations, only had the one problem and that was a bad leak leak in the second bathroom. We notified Scott Medina about it and to have it resolved. If all goes as expected we will purchase there at Playa Turquesas, just waiting on the wire transfer to arrive at DHOZ.

  A+++++ The apartment was beautiful and had absolutely everythingqe needed and then some. There is a gorgeous pool and beach view, the pictures dont do it justice... Its even better in person. Very secured complex where everything you could ever want or need is walking distance even a supermarket attached to the complex. Very cool restaurants and bars within walking distance and a great bakery as well. The staff at Go Punta Cana was super efficient and accomodating, and Anny was very sweet and very helpful.
  
  The beach is gorgeous with lots of activities available and its literally a 1-2 minute walk. I recommend the excursions of Ocean Adventures, restaurants close-by I recommend Balicana (thai), Dannys Bar and Grill (bar with kareoke and live music, pizzeria too), Huracan Cafe (beachfront lounge and international food) and Soles (beachfront lounge and international food). You WILL NOT need a car, its would be totally up to you.
  
  In conclusion, our experience was so great we ended up extending our stay. I highly fecommend coming here.

  Was a nice short trip to punta cana.
  good view to the ocean, supermarket and restaurants only some steps away, appartment and balcony nice and good condition,
  the management very helpfull, had to stay a night more- > no problem, they can also give good advice

  The view of the beach, palms and turquoise water was spectacular. I enjoyed cooking and eating on the deck while enjoying the view. The new BBQ grill was very much appreciated. It would be nice if you continue to add a few staple items such as a hair dryer, spices, games etc. You know items you don't want to have to purchase for a short stay. You have a beautiful property and I enjoyed my stay in Punta Cana.
